Coins Tagua Necklace Handmade
This beautiful necklace consists of a single column of five tagua coins hanging from two thin cotton cords. Another coin on the cord rests on the collarbone, and a final coin at the nape of the neck, which can be slid up or down to adjust its length. The cords finish off in the back with a small tassel held by an acai seed. A playful and uncommon design. These tagua beads are sustainable, organic, vegan and biodegradable: 100% vegetable ivory (Tagua seeds).

Each Tagua seed is unique, like a fingerprint, slight variations in color, shape and size are natural characteristics of all our products and should be expected. Individual uniqueness is guaranteed. When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and dried for 6 to 9 months. After losing all their moisture they become rock solid resembling ivory in color, texture and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”. At this point the hard seeds are polished, dyed, cut and shaped into beautiful beads that become Muichic’s natural jewelry.
