Facet Tagua Pendant Handmade
A whole dried tagua seed, with some of its rind, is hand carved with a faceted finish giving each pendant a unique character. It hangs from two thin cotton cords with an adjustable macrame closure for versatility. Four small tagua beads finish it off at the back end tips. This tagua pendant is sustainable, organic, vegan and biodegradable: 100% vegetable ivory (Tagua seeds).

Each Tagua seed is unique, like a fingerprint, slight variations in color, shape and size are natural characteristics of all our products and should be expected. Individual uniqueness is guaranteed. When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and dried for 6 to 9 months. After losing all their moisture they become rock solid resembling ivory in color, texture and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”. At this point the hard seeds are polished, dyed, cut and shaped into beautiful beads that become Muichic’s natural jewelry.
