Husks Tagua Ring Handmade
A naturally bold design comprised of a tagua band that holds a cluster of tagua husks in different shades of green. The husks and band are hand sewn together with a cotton cord (when the tagua seeds are dry the husk is shaved off and dyed). A truly uncommon, fun, natural design, a rare eco-chic accessory that never goes out of style. The ring’s texture is very smooth, just like ivory but botanical, and being a natural product all rings differ from one another–there are no two identical pieces–making them truly unique pieces of jewelry. Our tagua rings are sustainable, organic, vegan and biodegradable: 100% vegetable ivory (Tagua seeds). Our ring sizes are Small (5 to 6.5), Medium (7 to 8) and Large (8.5 to 9.5).

Each Tagua seed is unique, like a fingerprint, slight variations in color, shape and size are natural characteristics of all our products and should be expected. Individual uniqueness is guaranteed. When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and dried for 6 to 9 months. After losing all their moisture they become rock solid resembling ivory in color, texture and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”. At this point the hard seeds can be polished, dyed, cut and shaped into beautiful beads that become Muichic’s natural jewelry.
