Ivory Tagua Ring Handmade
A whole dried tagua seed is drilled through its center and then placed in a lathe to create its faceted frontal shape. The faceted sides at the front are then drilled through creating several frontal holes that give special character to this design. Naturally beautiful, a true eco-chic statement that never goes out of style. The ring’s texture is very smooth, just like ivory but botanical, and being a natural product all rings differ from one another–there are no two identical pieces–making them truly unique pieces of jewelry. Our tagua rings are sustainable, organic, vegan and biodegradable: 100% vegetable ivory (Tagua seeds). Our ring sizes are Small (5 to 6.5), Medium (7 to 8) and Large (8.5 to 9.5).

Each Tagua seed is unique, like a fingerprint, slight variations in color, shape and size are natural characteristics of all our products and should be expected. Individual uniqueness is guaranteed. When ripe, tagua seeds are harvested and dried for 6 to 9 months. After losing all their moisture they become rock solid resembling ivory in color, texture and hardness, hence their nickname: “Vegetable Ivory”. At this point the hard seeds can be polished, dyed, cut and shaped into beautiful beads that become Muichic’s natural jewelry.
